The streak tube was specially
produced for its streak mode applications in lidar-type systems of plasma
diagnostics for thermonuclear units of takomak-type. In order to obtain an
effective registration of input signals contained few quantums streak tube is
provided by a wide-measure slit photocathode and an electron lens that squeezes
an image of the signal at a blue/green phosphor screen applied on a fiber-optic
disk. A pair of deflecting plates is made as two broadband communicational
lines with coaxial connectors of 50Ohm wave resistance.
